Who can help?
If you want to speak to someone and are still at school or college, ask about seeing a careers advisor. If you are currently 16 – 19 years old and not in education, employment or training then you may be able to get careers advice from Youth Support Service.
If you are over 19 years old the National Careers Service in Central Bedfordshire Council are able to offer appointments at your local library or council office.
The National Careers Service website has career tools to help you make decisions about careers, learning and work. There are over 700 job profiles on the website. You can use the job category list to browse or use the search bar if you've got a career in mind.
You can also contact the National Careers Service by phone. You can speak to an adviser in your own language using their translation service. Call 0800 100 900 and tell the adviser which language you would like translated.

Nacro offer support and advice regarding access to employment, housing and education to people with criminal records.
